Art means finding oneself - and when you find a genuine connection with yourself, you can give the best of yourself to others. Piano has been my loyal companion since childhood to which later joined medicine. The choice of both was intuitive, which I now understand more and more with each day. They have become an inseparable part of me, intertwined in my daily life and the stories of countless people who constantly teach me about preciousness of life. That was the inspiration for the MAURANA project, which combines and connects various media, worlds and people. We wish that our works would not be an end in themselves but would touch as many people as possible and perhaps contribute a small part to a better tomorrow.
Through my studies and work, I have realized that medicine is not just a science; it is also an art of observation, communication, movement, collaboration, team work, exchange of knowledge and discovery of new insights. Surgery is my passion, my mission and a sincere commitment to all written above. Althoughaccompanied by great efforts, sacrifices and responsibilities, there is no greater privilege, fulfillment or satisfaction than being able to do something good with your own hands and help someone. There is no better feeling than holding a patient's hand and embracing her after a challenging surgery or a difficult childbirth and rejoicing in life's victories together.

Academic musician, composer, music professor.
Music has been a part of my life from early years when my mother enrolled me in the Tartini Ballet School and when my parents took me to various opera and ballet performances. Even today, I vividly remembers the enchantment of Swan Lake and the grandeur of Tosca. Ballet and opera left a significant impression on me and these are the genres I enjoys creating the most. Choral music, which I was introduced to as a five-year-old in the Slovenian Philharmonichall in Ljubljana is deeply rooted within me and it is a genre that music flows naturally when I start composing.
Music for children, vocal music, chamber ensembles, ballet music, opera music... Hybridity, exploring expressions, sounds – this is what I excel at expressing. I feels that through music I can convey more about how I see the world rather than with words. Though seven musical notes may seem small and feeble, when you begin to explore and understand them, you discover that they are, in fact, infinite. I am delighted to share my understanding and perception of this vast world with all those willing to listen and learn.

I like to combine knowledge from the business world with my creativity and photography skills to create a unique approach to visual communication. I believe that subtle details can tell powerful stories and evoke deep emotions, much like in the business world, where carefully chosen details play a crucial role in forming successful entrepreneurial strategies.
I am attentive to small but essential details in everyday situations. I believe that these seemingly inconspicuous elements often hold the key to a deeper understanding and expressing a story, much like in my work where these small moments and actions are like discovering precious treasures that can be shared with the world.
